Little Black Dress: Fashion Show Segment

Omg Omg! i have been dying to share this post with you guys ! To start off i had originally bought this dress for valentines day but i ended up wearing something else so i was left with a brand new dress with no occasion. During the show's stress it came in handy! Hard to believe but i scored this baby on the sale right and i absolutely loved it! The length was more than appropriate for the occasion and the edgy sleeve described my personality without words. And to top it off these heels complimented the dress's style perfectly. Enjoy!-XOXO Lili Brito

State Competition Recap !

Being able to be part of the FCCLA State Conference was such an amazing rewarding experience! To start off we got to travel south to Tuscon all Expenses paid, to The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa. which had an amazing view inside and out.
With the resort came an awesome pool side with 4 pools and 3 jacuzzis i guess they knew we would need some relaxation throughout the competition nerves!
And as a cherry on top we got to go mini golfing, and go-kart racing! But now lets get to business.
FCCLA is an organization that that helps students prepare for their careers, and as a competition many careers had a Star-Event to compete in.

Here Is My Sample Look!
As for myself, i competed in Fashion Design of course! For my task i was asked to create a clothing line of 6 with all the marketing that comes with it, including fabric profiles and flat patterns and a sample look.I competed with about 10 other, one of which i admired dearly for his construction work!
But guess what?! I got the GOLD! i initially wanted to participate in the conference searching for the $3,000 scholarship fidm awards for gold medalist in state; and one full year in Nationals!
So i got what i wanted and now i am off to San Antonio,TX in July 6-10, during my birthdate.. in search for the one full year.. Wish me goodluck !
